Change a Photo to a Sketch -
5 Minutes ... Really!

1. Open your file
2. Ctrl-J to duplicate the layer
3. Image/Adjustments, Desaturate
4. Ctrl-J again
5. Ctrl-I to invert
6. From Layers palett, choose Blend. Then Color Dodge
   (Your picture will look mostly white, but don't worry. Trust me.
7. FILTER/Blur, Motion blur. Drag the Distance slider until satisfied .
