This page is for description of some homework assignments as well as other explanations that will be needed from time to time.
During this semester, we will be interacting a a great deal. Let's take a moment to get to know each other better. Please address each of the prompts, and it is okay to be conversational in tone if you wish.
This will count into your participation grade.
Write an essay/journal entry (~300 words) about Textbook Article 1.1 on page 8. Do not submit yet, but save it for your blog. You can address some of the prompts on page 9 or you can react to the article as you wish. When you write, remember that your audience is the public at large. Therefore, you must properly introduce the ideas presented in the article.

Instructions To Be Announced.
Your task is to develop and design a video tutorial on any aspect of spreadsheets or database. Use Jing or another screencast software to record it. Do not submit it now. Instead, you will save it to be shared in your YouTube channel.
Here is a tutorial for Jing to get you started.
Another one that was recommended by Leonardo is Open Broadcast Software (obsproject.com)Read the Textbook article 3.4 - "Google's European Conundrum: When Does Privacy Mean Censorship?", page 44. Then write a response for your blog in which you reflect on the three Critical Thinking questions on page 46. Be careful to write in the form of an essay and not simply answer a series of questions. Also, you will note that there are about 15 questions. You don't have to answer each one individually, but make sure to include the broader aspects of the 3 questions in your essay.
The due date is Nov. 16. To submit, simply add it as a post to your Wordpress site. I already have your web address.
