To prepare for our networks discussion during this module, do at least some light reading through these resources:

• Chapter 1, Sections 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6.
  These sections are about networks and various internet protocols.   Skip
• Appendix F, FTP Tutorial.
  The 2 pages will give you an overview of what's involved in File Transfer Protocol
        
• CofC FTP or CofC Student FTP
